Refunds

• The competitive/selection fee is non-refundable

• Refunds will be reviewed where a player trying out for a competitive team is not selected for a specific team and player decides to leave OSU immediately after tryouts

• Refunds will be reviewed where a player trying out for a competitive team is not selected and OSU is unable to provide a suitable alternative within the recreational program

• Refunds WILL NOT be processed for Force Academy and Competitive players withdrawing after they have been offered and have accepted a team assignment, NO EXCEPTIONS

• Force Academy players on a year round program are responsible for full payment of Team Fees and Club Fees. Outstanding registration fees are due upon withdrawal from the program. NO REFUNDS will be issued if a player leaves after he/she has accepted a spot on a Force Academy or Competitive team.

Club Registration and Collections

A player will NOT be registered until their fees have been paid and therefore not eligible to play or train

For players on a recurring payment model, should they discontinue or fail to complete payments, they will be contacted by a club official. Failure to communicate with the club to find a solution and ensure that all fees are paid in a timely manner will result in their removal from program access and will not be released to play for another club until full outstanding payments is received by the club.

Club Registrations

  • only once a player registers with OSU will they be registered as an official player with our governing body. If this has occurred after the start of the season, it may affect their ability to be registered and play, depending on the league rules (this situation is most applicable to competitive, academy and adult competitive soccer)
  • OSU typically offers an early-bird summer registration for the recreational program which begins in late January, or early February each year
  • OSU offers a third child discount within recreational and/or developmental soccer programs. Those who qualify should contact our Registrar
  • OSU does at time have wait lists for our programs, and it is most common to occur in U6-U14 recreational programming. Participants should register early (January-March) to avoid this potentially occurring
  • OSU can at times exchange programs for a credit, if they deem it to have no impact on the team they are on and have good merit, such as a long-term injury, or changing programs that are a better fit for the participant. If this scenario occurs, you should contact our Registrar or Programs Manager

Player Releases/Transfers

Force Academy or competitive players will not be released or transferred until ALL outstanding club fees & team fees have been paid in full.

A player will NOT be registered for their respective league if outstanding fines or fees have not been paid.

All returned cheques are subject to a $40 NSF admin fee.

Fines - Players, Coaches, Teams
