Program Description:
The U12/U13 age group is a combination of players born in 2008 & 2007 and falls under the Soccer for Life module of the Long Term Player Development program of the Ontario Soccer Association. Boys and Girls program will be separate.

Program Start: Tuesday, May 21st (Girls) & Thursday May 23rd (Boys)

Date: Saturday, August 17th

Start Time: 6:30 pm (practice)
Game Time: 7:00 – approx 8:15 pm (possibly an earlier start in mid to late August due to earlier sunset)
Game Length: 2 x 35-minute halves with 5-minute halftime
Target Team Size: 19 - 21 players
Players on the Field: 11 (including the goalie)

Coaching: Parent Volunteers
Coaching Qualifications: OSU hosts in house clinics for all volunteer coaches.
Friend & Field Requests:
Play will occur at various locations within the general OSU geographic area. Approximately half of the games will take place as near the home location of the players as possible, depending on the fields that are available. OSU will do its best to honour friend requests but there are no guarantees.

Additional Skills Training:
This is an optional once a week training session focusing on technical development and run by OSU staff coaches. Players must be registered in the Recreational Program to participate.
